Mission Statement
We Care Community & Literacy Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding community access to literacy resources, financial education, local government assistance, skills training, job placement, after-school care, and weekend enrichment programs. Our mission is to work collaboratively with students, residents, families, and committed professionals to bring hope, opportunity, and meaningful change to children and adults facing challenging circumstances.
For more than 30 years, Dr. Singleton has served the community with unwavering commitment, advancing literacy and lifelong learning for both adults and children. The organization remains focused on strengthening community ties and empowering individuals through education, support services, and accessible pathways to success.
